We get it. The cause is close to your heart and you want to help but you're not sure how beyond attending what's sure to be the best party of the year. Over the next couple days, we're going to present some incredible ideas by our talented partners to help you engage with a cause we believe to be profoundly deserving.

Friends League Toronto is an non-profit athletic club that hosts monthly sporting matches to get physical while fostering community, and for the next six weeks, will support the crusade to end the water crisis in Eastern Madagascar.

Friends League Toronto was a joint effort by Dayna and her partner, Helton, who is a soccer aficionado. They realized that many of their friends wanted a way to be active together, and discovered that it was a way to start a larger conversation about acting local but thinking global.

Dayna was empowered to participate in H2O17 because she believes having a legacy of impact is crucial:

"As a Reiki Master and spiritualist, helping people realize their potential is my vocation. Water is medicine, and it is among the most basic necessities for nourishment. In my practice of Reiki, I refer to water as a tool for creating calmness and comfort, and through my own meditations, water is my highest source of serenity. We are so privileged to consider water a source of strength and revitalization.  It is unfathomable that any person should have to question the viability or availability of something so essential."
