They put the Mada in #MadaMonday
A quick poll of the study tour groups that have had the pleasure of traveling to Madagascar would result in unanimous favorability of each person we were privileged to meet. In the week's leading up to our event, we also want you to meet some of the team on the ground in Madagascar. These amazing people make magic happen with your support. They all also happen to be kind, generous, and a really, really good time.
First and foremost, our love story begins with Malala Superior, Ernest Randriarimilala:
Ernest is WaterAid's Communications Support Officer in Madagascar. He is also an incredible dancer, a talented vocalist (he specializes in ballads), a daring photographer, and a wonderfully kind and hilarious human being. He has the job of documenting life before and after water and sanitation in communities across Madagascar. Ernest takes his job seriously - he spends lengths of time with the families we're impacting, and works to bring lights to topics like sanitation and hygiene. Ernest brought so much joy to the faces of all the people we met, and we all understood why. After only two short weeks, you know he means it when he tells he loves you and that he'd die for you. A romantic and a vigilante!
